T-Engine Forum will exhibit at G-spatial EXPO (Organizer: G-spatial EXPO Executive Committee) which will be held at PACIFICO YOKOHAMA in Minato Mirai, Yokohama City from Sunday, September 19 to Tuesday, September 21, 2010. ”G-spatial society,” where required information associated with places can be freely used anytime and anywhere, is now about to be realized. ”G-spatial society” is an infrastructure to make the society and life safer, enrich them and create new industries and services. It can provide location information service, etc. by surveying cities, roads, etc. accurately to enhance common maps that can be used by anyone. ”Food Traceability Open Seminar (FY2010 Tokyo venue)” will be held at Hongo Campus in The University of Tokyo from Tuesday, October 5 to Wednesday, October 6 by Institute of Infrastructure Application of Ubiquitous Computing (IAUC), Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies, The University of Tokyo and T-Engine Forum. On October 5, Ken Sakamura, Chair of T-Engine Forum and others will give lectures, and on October 6, a hands-on practice to issue ucode is scheduled. Participation can be for both days or first day only.

T-Engine Forum will hold the second Workshop on TRON/Ubiquitous Technology from 1:00 pm. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1. This workshop provides the Forum members with an opportunity to report and discuss the latest technological achievement related to T-Kernel, ITRON specification OS, and ubiquitous ID technology. The special topic of the second workshop is titled “The latest achievement of ubiquitous computing technology and services.” Under this title, we invite participants for discussion on elemental technologies and application examples related to ubiquitous ID technology.
